3G Core Network Commissioning
Universal Mobile Telecommunication System that adopts WCDMA air interface. In general, the UMTS is the same as that of the 2G mobile communication system. The network units can be divided into radio access network (RAN) and core network. The RAN processes all the radio related functions; the CN process the switching and routing of all the voice calls and data connections in the UMTS with the external networks. The CN divided into CS and PS. The CS network units include MSC,VLR, and GMSC. The PS network units include SGSN and GGSN. The HLR. AUC. An d EIR are common to the CS and PS. ZXWN CS consist of two main entities such as MSC severs (MSCS)  and  and Media Gateway(MGW).They have different data configuration and functional modules with different software system. These software modules and data configurations enable both entities to achieve their own functions. ZXWNCS software system includes foreground operating system, call processing, signal processing, modules and performance monitoring. The project describes MSCS and MGW product knowledge and understanding the working of each board from various perspectives, including proposals about network planning, Hardware information, installation method and software information and installation method and how to integrate and commission the equipment with principles and procedure of data configuration. After equipment installation, and commissioning the network is made ready to make call.
