A Novel Method for Controlling and Monitoring of Data Acquisition System

Abstract


Through the Introduction of internet into control network, it is possible to break through the spatio–temporal restriction of traditional control network. Further it is possible to achieve effective remote sensing, monitoring and real- time controlling .In this paper, a new kind of controlling and monitoring of data acquisition system based on embedded web server is presented. The hardware platform uses 32 bit ARM-7 processor with Ethernet controller. The software platform uses C for firmware, HTML for frontend. This system can measure all kinds of electrical and thermal parameters such as voltage, current, thermocouple, RTD and so on. The measured data can be displayed on web pages and at the same time it can be transmitted through RJ-45 Ethernet network to remote DAS or DCS monitoring by using TCP/IP protocol.
