Software Development in Design

M. Varatharajulu, R. Rajendran

Abstract

The task of the machine designer has never been easy, he has to consider a number of factors, which are not always compatible [1]. The process of design is a time consuming one and there is a possibility for the human error in the manual design. Hence, we need software to eliminate the above said drawbacks. Here an attempt made to bring down the software, with the design status. We can obtain the numerical results from the software which can be integrated with the drawing software‟s, will give the graphical output. This project restricted to numerical output. At present the software includes Design of Coupling and Design of Knuckle Joint.
