Spectrum Sensing Techniques for Cognitive Radio Network

Maheshkumar S Pandit

Abstract

In wireless communication frequency spectrum is a scare element. This is also costly and limited. So, its effective use is necessary. The cognitive radio is the technology which makes it possible to senses and uses the white space available into the spectrum used by the primary user without any kind of interference. In cognitive radio spectrum sensing is the most interesting and challenging task .In this paper we discussed about the spectrum sensing Techniques and challenges face in sensing the spectrum.
