Harmonic Suppression of Cross Coupled Microstrip Band Pass Filter Using Folded Open Stubs and Split Ring Resonator

K. Vidhya, T. Jayanthy

Abstract

In this paper two pole chebyshev microstrip band pass filter is designed using two hairpin resonators and they are electrically coupled. The band pass filter is designed using dual feeding structure. The higher order harmonics of band pass filter are suppressed by using folded stubs and rectangular split ring resonator. The filter is designed at the frequency of 2.5GHz. The band stop effect of folded open stubs and split ring resonators are utilized to suppress the higher order harmonics of band pass filter.
