Wireless Communication- Mobile Radio Communication

Abstract


Wireless communication is one of the most active areas of technology development of our time. This development is being driven primarily by the transformation of what has been largely a medium for supporting voice telephony into other services, such as the transmission of video, image text and data. The traditional resources that have been used to add capacity to wireless systems are radio bandwidth and transmitter power. Two resources area among the most severely limited in the deployment of modem wireless network. The focus of the article is to provide a detailed discussion on the performance of cellular radio systems. It also provides future directions and innovations of the cellular mobile technology.
