Comparative Investigation of Metrics for a Web Client in Wireless Environment
Abstract
-The widespread reliance on networking and Internet
applications created a need for a technology that provides reasonable speed, access anywhere and a most cost effective solution. We have introduced the OPNETTM network simulation as a primary tool for been taken as reference model. The scenarios implemented include two types of applications (Database and FTP) in two different sites each comprising of 20 users and results indicate that response timeand Task processing time are highly affected by the number of usersper application with and without load balancing.
