A Study on Variegated Location-Based Routing Protocol in Wireless Sensor Network

A. Vanaja

Abstract

Extensive usage of wireless sensor network (WSN) is the reason of development of many routing protocols. Because of the increasing demands of various applications, and the constraints of energy, memory and computational power of the WSN nodes. However, the routing protocols which might differ depending on the application and network architecture. In WSN, the sensor nodes have a limited transmission range, and their processing and storage capabilities as well as their energy resources are also limited. Routing protocols for wireless sensor networks are responsible for maintaining the routes in the network and have to ensure reliable multi-cluster communication under these conditions. In this paper, I have presented study about location-based routing protocols in Wireless Sensor Network and their key factors are discussed.
