Abstract


With the rapid advancement of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), the way of doing business and lifestyle has been changed over the past three decades.  The best way to consider about ICT is to regard all the benefits of the digital technology that is present which is used to assist organizations or businesses and individuals. It includes any product that stores, controls, retrieves, receives or transmits information digitally. Thus, ICT has become a basic building block of the contemporary society. The aim of this paper is to identify the current status, uses of ICT as well as the challenges it is facing.
