BER Analysis of Equalizers with BPSK Signaling

Seema Paliwal, Jyoti Krayla, Dilpreet Kaur Grover

Abstract

“In this paper we have done comparison among performance of various equalization techniques like linear equalizer, Decision Feedback equalizer (DFE), maximum likelihood sequence estimation (MLSE), in order to get suitable equalizer for perfect wireless communication. Under Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) we have consider Binary Phase–shift keying (BPSK) modulation scheme for the analysis of Linear and Non- linear equalization.  Here MATLAB software tool is utilized to demonstrate that the DFE gives much better performance in low SNR region as compared to  linear equalizer over AWGN channels.”
