Go Green, Think Green, Act Green

Abstract


Green computing is the training of using computers and related technology in a naturally responsible method. It aims at radically changing the way we go about computing, using the electronic devices and following strict energy conservation guidelines, so as to minimize the damage caused to the environment by computers. In broader terms, it is also defined as the knowledge of designing, engineering, manufacturing, by and placing of computing devices like monitors, servers, CPU storage devices, networking and communication system in a way that reduces their environmental impact. This is a new paradigm of designing the computer system which considers not only the processing performance but also the energy efficiency. Green computing can helps on avoiding global warming that origin of improper function in the regular air. So in this paper we depict the need of Green Computing to the society, roads to Green Computing. Strategies to implement Green Computing for creating a sustainable environment.
