A Proposed Descriptors Based Image Retrieval with the Application of Radon Transform
Abstract
In this article, a method is proposed for image retrieval based on the textural information of an image, such as Contrast, Coarseness, and roughness. For this purpose, we first resize all the database images to get similar size of memory space then the conversion is performed from RGB to Gray to note the gray level variation .After this we Apply the Radon transform to find the parameter values. When the query image is submitted its parameter values obtained from similar procedure are compared with values stored in the database. The closest values are extracted from the database as the query result.
