Advanced Nano Sensor Technology in WBANs
Abstract
Wireless Body Area Networks (WBANs) widely uses the emerging technology IEEE 802.15.6 and IEEE 802.15.4jstandards.In the wireless communication sensor networks, Micro Electro Mechanical Systems (MEMS) technology and integrated circuits enables intelligent, miniaturized, low-power, invasive/non-invasive micro and nanotechnology. Here Nano sensor nodes are placed in or around the human body for Personal Health Monitoring. The scope of nano technology along with WBANs is to simplify and improve speed, accuracy, and reliability of communication of sensors/actuators within, on, and in the immediate proximity of a human body. The future development of nano sensors in WBANs is to challenge and overcome diseases in medical field.
