An Improvement of Iris Pattern Identification using Radon Transform
Abstract
This research proposes an improvement of iris personalidentification system using Radon transform which is used toextract feature stored as templates in a database. In Personalidentification using iris images, the computational complexity in thefeature extraction from the normalized iris images is still of keyconcern and further efforts are required to develop efficient featureextraction approaches. In this paper, we investigate a new approachfor the efficient and effective extraction of iris features using Radontransforms. In our research, Euclidean distance is used for distance measurement.
