Abstract

This paper presents the experiments and makes a research on combining 3D animation with Sound material for effective learning of Information Technology subject among the adult learners between the ages 20 to 30. This paper proposes to make use of Autodesk 3D Studio Max animation software technologies to learn IT and then generate learning materials according to software features. Autodesk 3D Studio Max 2010 released by Autodesk University (USA) is a kind of animation software. It has features of being powerful entertainment animation capability and easily integrates with other 3D software. Therefore, it is used by many animation colleges in India. On the above of experiment, the paper introduces an approach on how to simplify the IT learning method. It also finds a solution on how to use and integrate Autodesk 3D Studio Max learning materials with the current learning platform seamlessly for better learning. The purpose of the research reported in this paper was to find out the usefulness of 3D animated learning material for supporting Information Technology learners between the age groups 20 to 30.
