Abstract

This paper presents the design and development of Non Stop Automatic Toll Collection System. It is simple and faster than traditional token based toll collection system, so it has all potential to replace the existing system. In this vehicle don’t need to stop to pay toll which saves a quality time. A new RFID Authentication and authorization protocol model was used to guarantee system security. RFID Toll Collection Management System uses contact less automatic identification technology for identification of vehicle owner passing through Toll Collection centers. So time required to take the toll at the end of session can be reduced. Saving time for toll collection will save bulk of time in all working hours of Toll Collection Centers. The automatic toll collection system based on RFID has advantages of less cost, small size and high Reliability. This non stop automatic toll collection system also provides a additional feature as compared to existing toll collection systems i.e. detection of vehicle number plates.
