Survey on Ontology Based Semantic Web Services

N. Sasikaladevi, Dr. L. Arockiam

Abstract

Web service plays dominant role in today’s business. Organizations, educational institutions and trading agencies are getting benefited by the use of web services. Even an individual can use the needed web service because of the revolutionary change in the Internet. Different vendors like Sun, Microsoft and BEA are providing framework models for the development and usage of web services. As a web service consumer, we can call web service directly by using URI. We can make our software to call the needed web service dynamically by the use of semantic web service.Semantic web service prevents user intervention. In this paper, we have analyzed ontology based semantic web services.

Keywords
