Abstract

It is now more than a year that the pandemic has changed how we work and learn as social distancing guidelines have led to a more virtual existence, both personally and professionally, and hence many companies have been forced to make the abrupt shift to working from home. As COVID-19 seems endless, many employers have realized that the pandemic keeps them to stay on remote working to pursuit their businesses regardless of any pitfalls that business managers need to be aware of.  To this end, this paper was developed to review work from home, which is known as WFH as an acronym, amid Covid19. The paper reviews the current situation in the kingdom of Bahrain by having insight into how well remote working works. The paper aims to investigate the major advantages and disadvantages of WFH by using selective sampling technique, the samples of this study are the two prominent organizations in Bahrain, one in the private sector and another one in the public sector, to understand the effect of business according to the new challenge caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
